Stijn Koomen

I'm a Dutch film and stage actor with over two decades of professional experience, starting as a child actor and continuing through leading and supporting roles in Dutch film and television. My credits include Simon (the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards), R U There (Official Selection, Cannes Film Festival) and Stages (winner of three Dutch Film Awards), working with directors such as Mijke de Jong, Eddy Terstall and David Verbeek.

I trained at De Trap Drama School in Amsterdam, graduating Cum Laude, and also work as a writer and director. I've practised martial arts for years — Shorinji Kempo and Tai Chi Chuan — which shows in how I move on camera.

I'm now based in Thailand and available for film, television and commercial work across the region.
